There are biographical sketches of Ella's father, Louis Bittner, in both the Portrait and Biographical Album of Jackson Co., Iowa 1889 and the History of Jackson County, Iowa 1910. The 1889 sketch is posted on the biography board of this site.
George Zentner was the son of Michael and Anna Maria (Frank) Zentner. He was born 28 Jan 1875 in Bellevue and died on 24 Jun 1947 also in Bellevue. He married Ella Bittner in Jan 1902 in Dubuque, Iowa. I have not researched this family any further so don't know about George's occupation.
