Wm.&Thomas MARTIN in 1860 census

MARTIN

Have tracked my gruncles, Wm J. and Thomas E. MARTIN, to Jackson Co through a 1860 Jackson Co. census. At that time Wm J., 15, b. PA and his brother, Thomas E, 11, b. PA. were listed as "living with" other families, so supposedly they were working for board and room, and that their parents, John W. and Eleanor MARTIN might have died. Am so anxious to find what happened to them. I did find Wm. with his sister, Mary Jane UPDEGRAFT and her family on a 1870 Jones Co census, but lost him there, too. Any help would be so greatly appreciated. Hopefully they might have MARTIN family connections still in Jackson Co.
Thank you,
Mary Jane <
