JENSEN, JESSEN OR, JOHNSON

We need help locating news story of a drowning death that occurred between July 4 and July 11, 1886 involving a Danish immigrant named Hans JESSEN or JENSEN. Later, the name was anglicized to JOHNSON. His surviving children were told that he was at a picnic in Sabula Iowa when he drowned witnessed by a number of people. Probably in the Mississippi River. We have a death certificate for him that was issued on July 11 and he was buried the next day--probably due to the heat and the condition of his body. His burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, but apparently the grave is not marked and was not recorded. Anyone who has the time to look up this story and forward any possible details will have our eternal thanks.
