Keith, Find your families on all avail. census records first. Before you can start looking for lateral genealogical records, you hve to determine where & when the events may have occurred. Example: You have Margaret born abt 1858. The 1880 federal & 1885 state census indicate she was born circa 1859. Which is correct? I have no idea. Finding her on the 1900 may even have another circa birth year but it will also include a month. ELISABET & MARGRET DUCHEN are living in another surnamed household in 1885 Prairie Springs twp. I would also suggest you contact the Jackson co. Historical Society & Museum in Maquokets for any assistance they can provide. They can also put you in touch with the Jackson co. Historical Cemeteries Ass'n. Dick
