Does anyone know of where I can find Iowa Death Records, without going through the state ?
From what I read, you have to be a least a grandchild...and since my great great grandparents are some of the people I am looking for, that rules me out.

I am looking for death cert/records for the following:

Anne Margrethe Thomsen Petersen/Peterson
10 Mar1846 to 19 Jun 1938
Anne was born in Germany, as were 2 of her sons, Peter N & Andrew Carsten.

Peter N Petersen-
b. Jan 1876 Germany

Andrew Carsten Petersen
21 Jul 1878 -25 Oct 1937
Germany

James Petersen-husband of Martha
b Feb 1881
was the blacksmith in what was known as Hahntown near Sabula.

Mary E or P Petersen Whitney
b.Mar 1882 died May 1914
jackson co iowa
wife of David G.Whitney

Thomas Petersen/Peterson
b Feb 1889 d.?
Sabula Iowa

I put in all the info on these folks, in case someone is related, knows of who may be related or runs across an obit.
