Robert K. “Bob” Johnson
MAQUOKETA — Robert K. “Bob” Johnson, 27, of Maquoketa, died Monday at his home.
There will be a celebration of his life at 2 p.m. Friday at the Carson and Son Funeral and Cremation Services, Maquoketa, with the Rev. Ruth Ann Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bridgeport Cemetery, rural Maquoketa.
He was born April 27, 1978, in Davenport to Kevin and Pam Sickels Johnson.
He was a 1998 graduate of Maquoketa High School. He married Theresa Blake on July 22 in Bellevue.
He worked with Wady Industries in Maquoketa for several years as a fork-truck operator and in other various capacities.
Survivors include his wife; children, Dakota Rose and Hunter Joesph, both at home; his mother and stepfather, Pam and Randy Garien of Maquoketa; his father and stepmother, Kevin and Pauline Johnson of Lynn Center, Ill.; grandparents, Robert and Carole Sickels of East Moline, Ill.; one sister, Sara Johnson of Dixon, Iowa; and two stepsisters, Tara Anderson of Andrew and Lindsay Prezell of Key West, Fla.
A Robert K. “Bob” Johnson Memorial Fund has been established.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother and grandparents.
