Last Rites Held For Mrs. Scobey

Sabula- Funeral services for Mrs Mary Catherine(Lewis) Haley Scobey, 72, were held in the St. Peter's Catholic church, Monday morning at 10 o'clock , the Rev. P.F. Quilligan officiating. Burial was in St. Peter's cemetery. Pallbearers were Dick , Howard ,and William Meyers, Edward Pladna, Jerry Hoyer and George Smithson.
Out of town residents attending the services were sister Mrs. Sarah Snively, Mr and Mrs Grace(Edward) Pladna,their sons Tom and Joel and daughter Mrs. Helen(Melvin) Price and her daughter Joan, of Clinton. Mrs Herbert Haywood and daughter, Beverly of Waukegan ,Ill.
