The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Calvary Lutheran Church, Sabula, for Mrs Myrel E Yappen 75, Green Island, who died Friday ,Nov. 11,1977, at Bluff Terrace Care Facility , Jane Lamb Hospital.
Burial Will be in Fairview Cemetery near Miles. Visitation will be after 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home , Preston, and after 9:30a.m. Monday at the church.
Pallbearers will be Milton Drury, Calvin Drury, Kenneth Drury, Roland Drury, David Gruhn and Ervin Gruhn.
Mrs Yappen was born Feb 8, 1908, near Green Island, the daughter of Thomas and Mette Kriogaard Drury. She married C. Hobart Yappen. Feb 20 1924. The couple lived on the same farm for 53 years. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church , Sabula.
Survivors include her husband. a brother George Drury of Green Island and a sister, Mrs Bruno(Lucy) Gruhn of Sabula.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
