Patricia Elizabeth Clark was born August 31, 1946, to her father, Horace "Joe" Clyde Clark and mother, Allene Elizabeth (Keffer). Pat loved to share stories about her family, and their life growing up in Grayson, Kentucky. Pat died at her daughter Leah and son in law Ron's home on July 3, 2022, at age 76 after a life filled with love, adventures, and an extended illness of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

Pat grew up in a hardworking close-knit family in the beautiful hills of Grayson, Kentucky. She graduated from high school in Grayson, Kentucky in 1964. She enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 during the Vietnam-era and was honorably discharged in 1968.

In her late 20's, Pat met Harold Orville Pancake and on January 21, 1973, Pat gave birth to their son, Dana Clyde Clark (Molly Weaver Gansen) giving Dana her dad's middle name. After a few years, Pat's sister Loretta and husband Gene headed north to Mt. Joy, Iowa to work at the Caterpillar plant, and Pat followed.

Once in the Quad Cities, Pat fell for Gerald A. Davidson. They were blessed on January 6, 1976, in Davenport, IA, with their daughter, Leah "Sissy" Allene Davidson, who is currently of Maquoketa, IA (Ron Cornwell). Leah has stepsiblings, Steve Davidson, Jerry Davidson Jr., Michael Fitzpatrick and Tracy Davidson, all of Illinois.

In 1987, Pat moved with Dana and Sissy to Maquoketa, Iowa. In 1991, Dana graduated from Maquoketa High School. On May 14, 2021, Mercedes Rose Sedbrook currently of Dubuque, IA (Hunter Thill) was born. A few months later, Dana saw her adorable face and chose to be her daddy from that day forward. On November 25, 2005, Leah and Ron welcomed a son, Jesse Gerald Cornwell, to the family. In November 2003, Dana made Pat a grandma again when his daughter, Kaitlyn Elizabeth Clark was born. Dana's son, Grayson Joe Clark arrived August 28, 2005. Pat's granddaughter, Delilah Ann Clark lived to be 7 days old, passing November 30, 2008. Two more grandsons were soon born. Leah and Ron gave life to Noah Michael Cornwell, on June 8, 2010. Dana's youngest son, Brett Harper Clark, was born July 3, 2010. Pat absolutely adored all of her grandchildren. She and her dog Bailey watched The Young & the Restless and played board games with the grandkids. She also didn't mind a sale at Kohl's, a few scratch- off tickets, a beer and a swig of Kessler's. Pat had a few great nicknames. She was our Pooh Bear, Grandma Pat, Patty Cakes, and once in a blue moon, Patty.

Pat is survived by her siblings, Loretta "Sweet" Evens, Minnie (Chester) Harper, Don (Joyce) Clark and Betty (Bud) Feltrop; daughter Leah (Ron) Cornwell; and grandchildren Sadie, Kaitlyn, Jesse, Grayson, Noah and Brett. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Mary Kay Lehman, brothers Richard "Dick" Clark and Jack Clark, a son Dana Clark on July 14, 2020, and a grandchild Delilah Ann Clark.

A gathering of family and friends celebrating her life will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. on Friday, July 8, 2022 in "The Bistro" at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Cremation will follow the visitation and burial will be at a later date.

A special thank you to Jackson County Hospice for who loved taking care of their new friend, and quite the firecracker, Pat, on their daily visits to Leah and Ron's house.
