Funeral services for Mrs. Edith L. Fuglsang of 304 S. Otto St., Maquoketa, were scheduled to be held Wed., Oct. 2 at 1:30 p.m. at the Haylock and O'Hara Funeral Home. The Rev. J. Chandler Adams of Maquoketa United Church of Christ, officiated at the services with burial in the Mt. Hope cemetery. Mrs. Fuglsang died Sun., Sept. 29, at Jackson County Public Hospital.

Mrs. Fuglsang was born Oct. 11, 1883 in Jackson County north of Maquoketa, the daughter of William Ess and Delia (Tubbs) Keeley. She married Peter Hans Fuglsang March 3, 1910 in Maquoketa. She was a member of the Pope Rebekah Lodge, Past Noble Grands and a charter member of the Patriarch Militant Club.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Sarah) Arter of Waterloo; a son, William L. Fuglsang of Maquoketa; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Fuglsang was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson and two brothers.
