MONMOUTH--Funeral services for Richard C. Best, 50, who died Monday in Anamosa, were conducted in the Methodist church Thursday at 2 p.m. by Rev. S. Knoer.

Interment was made in Monmouth cemetery. Surviving are his wife; a brother, Louis Best, and a sister, Mrs. D. R. Johnson, all of Monmouth.
