Preston, Ia., May 15--James Burns, an old and respected citizen, passed away at his home Sunday night about 12:30 o'clock. Mr. Burns had been in poor health for some time, but was able to be around until a couple of weeks previous to his death. He leaves a wife, two sons and one daughter to mourn his death. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St. Joseph's church, Father Hayes officiating. Interment was in Preston cemetery, by the side of his wife and children.
