Mrs. Henry Claussen died at her home in Miles at 7 o'clock this morning, after a lingering illness, due to infirmities of old age.

Deceased was born in Germany April 29th, 1831, and was 84 years of age. She was a resident of Clinton county for a number of years, and had many friends in this county as well as in Jackson county who will be grieved to learn of her death.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Henry Lange and Mrs. John Miller, both of Miles, and five sons, Julius, Henry, Fred, Louis and Ernest.

The funeral will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Lange. Interment will be made in the Miles cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Claussen will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from the home of Mrs. Henry Lange near Miles.

Rev. Mauhl of Preston will officiate at the services which will be held at the home and interment will be in the Miles cemetery.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Henry Claussen was held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from the home of Henry Lange near Miles. Rev. Mauhl of Preston officiated and interment was in Reeseville cemetery. The pallbearers were: Fred Claussen, Alfred Claussen, Bert Claussen, Arnold Claussen, Ernest Claussen and Arthur Claussen, all grandsons of the deceased.
