Maquoketa, Ia., April 19--Eugene Mahony, twin brother of Mike Mahony, aged 70 years, died Saturday morning at Gary Owen at 5 o'clock. Four years ago he broke his hip and never recovered from the effects. Six weeks ago other complications set in which resulted in his death. Mr. Mahony was born on the old homestead farm and lived there until his death. He leaves a wife, six sons and a daughter. Funeral was held at St. Patrick's church at Gary Owen Monday morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Father Coffey officiated. Interment in St. Patrick's cemetery.
