Maquoketa, Ia., Oct. 24--Mrs. Amanda Isbell Jhero, wife of George Jhero, of this city, passed away at the county home Sunday. She had been in failing health for many months, and was taken there, where she could receive better care. The funeral services were held on Tuesday morning from Buchner's chapel at 10 o'clock, the Rev. Dickson, having charge of the services. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery.
