Maquoketa, Ia., Dec. 8--Friday morning this community was considerably startled when the remains of Mrs. Ida Adelia Poole arrived at Maquoketa for burial from Shell Rock, Iowa, where she passed away at 7:30 Tuesday morning, Dec. 4, 1917, aged 48 years, 2 months and 4 days. She was born in Maquoketa Sept. 30th, and resided here many years.

Mrs. Poole was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oliver DuFoy, and she leaves to mourn her loss, besides the fond husband, mother, brothers and sisters, a large circle of sympathizing friends.
