Maquoketa, Iowa, Oct. 31--The funeral of Miss Venora Tubbs was held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. G. Grant, where Miss Tubbs had been cared for since she was brought back from the hospital at Iowa City. Dr. J. G. Morgan officiated. The mother, Mrs. Emily Tubbs and sister, Mrs. Mary Crone, of Deerwood, Minn., were with Miss Tubbs, caring for her during her sad illness. One brother, Winfield, of Murdo, S.D., also survives Miss Venora.
