Maquoketa, Iowa, July 20--Nathan Tracy passed away at five o'clock yesterday morning after a month's illness. Mr. Tracy was an industrious teamster, thoroughly honest and reared a large family.

Maquoketa, Ia., July 21--The funeral of Nathan Tracy was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon and many were in attendance to pay a last tribute of respect.

Nathan Tracy was born at Dayton, Ohio, Dec. 18, 1846, and passed away at his home on South Second street July 19, 1917, at 5 o'clock a.m., age 70 years 7 months and 1 day. He was married to Aurilla O. Green at Andrew, Iowa, May 14, 1872. Eleven children were born, five of whom passed away. Left to mourn his departure are his bereaved wife, Mrs. Aurilla Tracy, also two sons, Robert of Delmar, Iowa, and Ervan A. of Charlotte, also four daughters, Mrs. Neva Miller and Mrs. Susie Stoffey, both of Maquoketa, Iowa, and Mrs. Eulah Stowers of Wascca, Minn. and Miss Elsie at home.
