Lavonne A. Towle, 91, of Marquette, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, in Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Wis., following a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, First Lutheran Church, rural McGregor. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home, McGregor, and one hour before services Thursday at the church.

She is survived by two sons, Stephen Towle of Paw Paw, Mich., and Richard Towle of McGregor.
