Maquoketa, Iowa, May 26--Thomas Eldradge Lott was born in Chicago June 4, 1878, being 38 years, 11 months and 18 days of age. He was the son of George W. and Elizabeth Lott.

On August 31, 1904, at Moline, Ill., he was united in marriage to Miss Elsie M., oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh M. Tracy.

The first five years of their wedded life they resided in Davenport. Following their residence there they came to Maquoketa for a brief time then went to North Dakota, where they homesteaded, proving up on a claim near Hettinger, N.D. Upon their return to Maquoketa they embarked in the restaurant business and remained in that business for a number of years.

April 6, 1915, they moved to Radium, Minn., where they took up their abode on a farm. Shortly after their arrival there Mr. Lott was taken ill and grew steadily worse until he had to be removed to a hospital in Fergus Falls, Minn., where he passed away on last Friday.

Mr. Lott was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge of Maquoketa and also of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.

He is survived by his aged father, George W. Lott, who is at present ill in a Minneapolis hospital, by his wife and two little daughters, Dorothy Devine and Maxine Marcella, and a sister, Mrs. W. C. Laugherty, of Minneapolis.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock from the Buchner chapel, Dr. J. G. Morgan officiating. Interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
