Maquoketa, Ia., May 2--The remains of Mrs. Elisha Cook, who died at Wynotte, Neb., were brought to Oxford Junction today, accompanied by Mrs. Wesley Clapp, her daughter, who was with her at the last. The funeral services were held at Smithtown at the Methodist church at eleven o'clock this morning. Mrs. Cook was an aunt of Will Lamey and Mrs. Jot Sokol. Mr. and Mrs. Lamey attended the funeral. Mrs. Cook was formerly a resident of this county, but since her husband's death has been living in Nebraska.
