Preston, Ia., March 16--George Sturben, aged 52, died Sunday morning at 2 o'clock at his home near Brown's. He had been a ill health for some time, but has only been confined to his bed for the past few weeks. He leaves to mourn his death a wife and one brother, John Surben of Browns, besides a host of friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Catholic church at Sugar Creek, services being conducted by Father Becker. Interment was made in the Sugar Creek cemetery.
