Maquoketa, Iowa, April 24--The people residing in the vicinity of Andrew were greatly grieved yesterday morning when it became current that one of their young residents , Roy Miller, had passed away at eleven o'clock Sunday evening. Mr. Miller had been in ill health for eight weeks and last Wednesday, submitted to a surgical operation and since kept growing weaker and weaker until last Sunday evening he passed into that peaceful sleep which knows no awakening.

Roy Miller, son of David Miller, was born in Perry township, July 18, 1885. On October 19, 1910 he was united in marriage to Miss Mayme Schnoor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schnoor of Iron Hill. Mr. Miller is survived by his father, his wife and two sons, Harold and LeRoy, and the following brothers and sisters: Ora Miller and Mrs. Bert Rigby of Brady, Mont.; Mrs. Nettie Thurston of Merrimac, Wis.; Mrs. Ed. McCarron and Mrs. Eva Sims of Perry Twp.; Mrs. Hunter of Preston, Mrs. Myrtle Branscomb of Maquoketa and Russell, Howard and Charles of this vicinity.

Mr. Miller was a young man of high ambitions and his death will be mourned by a large circle of friends as well as by the family circle.
