Maquoketa, Ia., April 16--Mrs. Wm. O. Cook died at Jennings, La. yesterday morning. She had intended to move back to Maquoketa the first of June and occupy her home on Arcade avenue. Elizabeth Howell was born in Maquoketa and was 27 years of age last August. Two little boys, Charles, aged 7 and William, aged 4, survive. Her husband dropped dead in the postoffice four years ago last November. She also leaves two brothers, Louis and Frank Howell of Maquoketa, and one sister Mrs. Louis Tamtarin, of Davenport. The remains will be brought here for interment, probably tomorrow.

Maquoketa, Iowa, April 17--Mrs. W. O. Cook's remains are expected on this evening's train from Jennings, La. Mr. Coffin will accompany the body. The funeral will be tomorrow with Mr. Kidder of M.E. church officiating and burial at Mt. Hope.
