Maquoketa, Ia., Jan 28--Mrs. Sophia Yerge died at the county home near Charlotte, Jan. 24, 1917, aged 78 years and 2 days. She was born in Germany Jan. 22, 1839. Services were held Friday, Jan. 26, 1917, at the M.E. church, Elwood, with interment in the Elwood cemetery.
