Preston, Ia., Jan. 23--Albert H. Lange passed away Saturday evening about 9 o'clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Christian Lange at 706 First avenue. The funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with short services at the home at 1:30 o'clock. At 2 o'clock the regular services were held in St. John's Lutheran church. The services were in charge of the pastor, Rev. E. C. Harris. Interment was made in the Riverside cemetery.

Albert Lange was born nineteen years ago next month. For many years he lived with his parents in South Dakota. Three years ago he went to York, Neb., where he entered the Commercial College of that city, graduating in due course of time. He came home and became ill at once and for the past two years has suffered from a complication of diseases. His trouble baffled all doctors and all mortal aid was of no avail. He gradually grew worse until death came.

He had been a good boy and the pride of his parents. They moved to Sterling three years ago and after finishing his course at York, he came home to Sterling to his parents. He leaves besides his sorrowing parents, one brother, LeRoy, and two sisters, Effie and Bernice, all living at home.
