Maquoketa, Ia., Feb. 17--After an illness of several weeks, Milton C. Teeple, one of the oldest of the early day residents of Jackson county, passed away at his home in Baldwin Wednesday morning, Feb. 14, aged about seventy years. Deceased was born near Nashville, being the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Teeple, pioneers of this county, and had spent practically his entire life in that vicinity where he engaged in farming. As old age grew near, he and his wife moved to Baldwin city where they have since resided. Mr. Teeple is survived by his wife , two sisters, Mrs. Frank Dyer of this city, Mrs. Cynthia Belnap of Mt. Vernon and two brothers, Hyland of Waterloo and William of Greene, Ia. The funeral was held from the M.E. church at Baldwin Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. Davis officiating. Interment made in the Buckhorn cemetery.

Baldwin, Ia., Feb. 20--Milton Teeple, an old-time resident of Baldwin, departed this life Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. The funeral services were conducted at the Methodist church Friday at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. Davis of the L.D.S. church. Interment was made at Buckhorn cemetery.
