Maquoketa, Ia., Jan. 4--James Waddell, an honored soldier of the civil war, was mustered out at final roll call Tuesday morning, Jan. 2, 1917, aged 71 years and ten days. He was born on Dec. 22d, 1845, in Ireland. Funeral will be held at 10 o'clock Friday morning from the house, Rev. Morgan officiating. Interment at Andrew.
