Maquoketa, Ia., Dec. 28--Mrs. Liddie Belle Haylock, after a long illness of several months, was relieved of her sufferings by the angel of death Sunday, Dec. 24, 1916, aged 59 years, 3 months and 25 days--born Aug. 29, 1856.

She was a highly esteemed neighbor and friend. Her husband preceded her many years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss three daughters and two sons, Mrs. Carl Jensen of Fairfield township, Mrs. Earl Bliss of Montana, Mrs. Fred Marlow of Maquoketa township and Vern and Fred on the home farm.

The funeral was held at the home of Carl Jensen on the Jake Haylock farm, Wednesday, Dec. 27, 1916, at 10 a.m., Rev. Tongue of Preston officiating. Interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
