Maquoketa, Ia. Dec. 18--Mrs. John Anderson, daughter of Paul Ward and sister of John Ward, who for years was connected with the Clinton Bridge Co., when the firm name was Ward & Peeples, passed away yesterday morning at 2 o'clock.

Maquoketa, Iowa, Dec. 20--Funeral services for Mrs. John Anderson, who passed away Sunday morning after many months of suffering, was held yesterday afternoon from the home at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Arthur M. Lewis of the Episcopal church of Oskaloosa, officiated.

Mary Ward was born April 26, 1850 near Fulton, Iowa. On June 6, 1880 she was married to John Anderson and to them 3 children were born, Miss Eliza at home, Charles of this city, and one little son, Ben Arthur, passed away at the age of six months.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, two children mentioned above, one sister, Mrs. A. C. Beedle of Hettinger, N.D., three brothers, John Ward of Sioux City; Harve Ward of Tecumseh, Neb.; Mort Ward of Detroit, Mich.
