Bellevue, Iowa, Dec. 13--On Monday afternoon at the home of her daughters, Mrs. Fred Dierkes, the spirit of Mrs. Lydia Moch took its flight to God who gave it at the age of 78 years, 4 months and 19 days. She was born in Indiana and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Lingle. She was married in Illinois to Louis Moch in October, 1852, and in 1854 they came to Jackson county and settled on a farm, retiring and coming to town several years ago, since which the husband passed away and for the past few years being unable to care for herself, she has made her home with her daughter. She was the mother of eight children only two the daughter and a son, Joseph, survive. Nineteen grand children, forty great grand children, six great great grand children and one of sixth generation with the daughter and son survive. The body was taken to Springbrook Wednesday morning and funeral services held in St. Peter and Paul Catholic church and the body laid beside her husband, six grandsons being pall bearers.
