Maquoketa, Ia., Sept. 30--Mrs. Emma Mitalda Buck, of Nashville, departed this life at 10 o'clock Friday night, Sept. 29th, 1916, after a lingering illness of about 2 years. Deceased was born Feb. 26th, 1874, being 42 years, 7 months and 3 days old at the time of her death.

Funeral services will be held at 1:45 p.m. tomorrow (Sunday) at the home, and at 2:30 o'clock at the Buckhorn church, Rev. Boomershine officiating. Interment will be made in the Buckhorn cemetery.
