Bellevue, Iowa Oct. 11--Sunday was a day of birthday greetings and festivities for Miss Pauline Mueller, it being her 23d birthday. She has been in poor health for some time and on that account the parents and relatives thought to make it more pleasant than usual little dreaming it was also her father's home above. She enjoyed the company and seemed in the best of spirits but during the afternoon she complained of not feeling well and laid down. She grew worse in the early evening and passed away about ten o'clock leaving her mother, father, seven sisters and five brothers sorrowing at her sudden taking from among them. She was born and spent all her life here, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Mueller. Funeral services were held from St. Joseph's church Wednesday morning after which the body was tenderly laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. The pall bearers were Ralph Millman, Ignas Ruf, Jr., Will Mier, John Irvin, Ed. Uetesch and Ed Mier.
