Maquoketa, Ia. Oct. 20--Mrs. Will Rankin died suddenly last night at 9 o'clock, from a blood clot on her brain. Mrs. Rankin laid down to rest at about 4 o'clock and never awoke. Physicians were summoned, and everything possible was done but to no avail and she passed away as above stated.

She is the wife of Will Rankin, a prominent young business man of this city. Her many friends will be grieved to learn of her sudden death.
