The mother of Mrs. Matt Pinnell passed away at an early hour Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter. She had been in poor health for many months, the last three having been spent in bed.

Mrs. Wagner was born at Koellon, Luxenberg, Germany 80 1/2 years ago, where she grew to young womanhood. She came to America in 1852 and in 1854 she married J. H. Wagner at St. Donatus. They followed the perusit of farming owning a farm between Bellevue and Andrew from which they moved to town 23 years ago where they enjoyed the fruits of their hard labor for three years, when Mr. Wagner was taken to his long home. Three years ago Mrs. Wagner broke up housekeeping since which time she has been with Mrs. Powell. She leaves three daughters and two sons and one sister, who is still in Germany. She was a member of the Rosary society of St. Joseph's church from which services were held Thursday morning, which were very largely attended by city and country friends, after which the body was tenderly laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery. The following were the pallbearers: John Kampe, Oscar Bradle, A. Hansen, George Ellinghouse, Joseph Kelse and Leopold Lampe.
