Bellevue, Ia., July 5--What was to have been a pleasant and happy time was turned to gloom when Mrs. Mary Hansen was stricken with apoplexy and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Martin Gross, where she had gone to visit. She was well and hearty Tuesday morning and was stricken soon after breakfast and only lived about 24 hours. She was born in Hungary 73 years ago, coming to America in her early womanhood. She leaves one son, a tailor of this city, and three daughters, Mrs. Gross, Mrs. Armsdorf of Dakota, and Mrs. Schwirtz of Dubuque. The funeral was held Friday morning from St. Joseph's church, Father Biese officiating. It was largely attended.
