Maquoketa, Ia. May 30--At three o'clock Friday afternoon at the country home near Andrew, occurred the death of Miss Josephine Bader, aged 62, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Bader, deceased, pioneer residents of this city. When a young girl she was stricken with a spinal affliction from the results of which she never recovered, and some time afterward was taken to the county home, where she had many years been residing.

She is survived by three brothers, Herb Bader of St. Louis, R. Perry Bader and C. A. Bader of Hawarden, Ia.; also two sisters, Mrs. Robt Blunt and Mrs. I. L. Wrod of Hawarden, Ia.

The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Buchner chapel, Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiating. Interment in Mt. Hope cemetery.
