Bellevue, Ia. May 3--Miss Martha Reed at her home on Second street passed away at 6:30 Tuesday morning. She had been an invalid for several years. She was born in 1841, and came to Bellevue in 1858, where she made her home ever since. She is survived by one sister, Miss Octavia Reed, and by quite a number of more distant relatives. Her sister is the only one in her immediate family left, and she is past 80 years and very feeble. Funeral services were held from the home, the pastor of the Presbyterian church, Rev. H. C. Irvine, conducting the services. There were many present to pay their last respects to the departed lady. Many flowers and tokens of remembrance were brought by friends.
