Last Friday evening at the home of Lyman Teeple, near Millrock, occurred the death of Mrs. Peter Werden, aged about eighty years, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Werden has resided in Jackson county for many years, and has ever held the highest esteem of all who knew her. The funeral was held from the Teeple home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. R. Mellott of the M.E. church at Baldwin officiating. Interment was made in the Baldwin cemetery.
