DEATH OF MATHIAS O'BRIEN

The death of Mathias O'Brien occurred at his home in Prairie Creek Tuesday, May 23rd. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dennis O'Brien and was born in this county fifty-eight years ago. An invalid from childhood his death terminated a life of patiently borne sufferings.

He is survived by three brothers, Harry, of Bernard; Michael, of Ryan; Joseph, of Peosta; and two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Dunn, and Agnes, of Bernard.

The funeral took place at Sacred Heart church, Fillmore, Rev. J. J. Leen officiating. Interment was at Garryowen, where Rev. P. J. Coffey conducted the services.

The pall bearers were Harry McClimon, Nicholas Knepper, William Driscoll, Nicholas Turnis, Fred Schuster and J. E. Callahan.
