He was stricken again Sunday night and passed away early Monday morning; thus passed away a Christian gentleman, a faithful husband and, father, respected by all who knew him.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Lynch, born in Garryowen February 15, 1886, spending practically his entire life in the community he was born in. On September 30, 1919, he was married in St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen, to Miss Gertrude Noonan, who, with one daughter, Margaret M., survives him. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jones, Los Angeles, Calif. and Miss Elizabeth Lynch, Dubuque; two brothers, Eugene, of Rapid City, South Dakota, and John, Algona, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by five children Dolores, Robert, and Francis. Two died in infancy, his parents, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Crowley and Helena Lynch; two brothers, Edmund and Timothy.

So Be My Passing,

My task accomplished and the long day done

My wages taken and in my heart some late lark singing

Let me be gathered to the quiet West

The sun down splendid and serene — Death.

Pallbearers were, John Otting, Joe Sadler, Merlin Reddin, Joe O'Connell, Vince Henneberry, Geo. Kueter.

The funeral was held from Devaney Funeral Home in Cascade to St. Patrick's Church, Garryowen, Wednesday, morning at 9 o'clock. Rev. Fr. Driscoll of Loras College, read tbe Mass and conducted service at the graveside.
