Death of Patrick Reddin of Garry Owen.

Patrick Reddin, one of the early settlers of Butler township, died at his residence on Friday, August 15th, 1890. He was born in county Cork. Ireland, and came to this country in 1824. He lived in the south for several years and in 1842 located in Iowa, then a territory, and made the state and county his residence up to the time of his death. He had reached the ripe age of 88 years. His wife died 18 years ago. He leaves no children. The funeral took place at St. Patrick's church, Garry Owen, the Rev. Father Kelly and Rev. McCauley officiating.
