Sabula, Ia. Nov. 3. - Special: George Hodgen, 67, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Matthews in Sabula shortly after noon Monday. Mr. Hodgen had been in poor health for more than a year, but his condition did not become serious until a few days ago.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Matthews, Sabula, and Miss Oliven, Clinton; two sons, William, Sabula, and Bert, Davenport; one step-sister, Mrs. Sadie Hyer, Sabula; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Giddings, Sabula, and Mrs. Mattie Marr, Fulton, Ill. His wife died about a year ago.
