Mrs. Frank Harrison Claimed by Death

Highly Esteemed Resident Departed This Life Wednesday Morning

Mrs. Frank Harrison passed to her reward on Wednesday morning at 7:30 o'clock at her home on Front Street, after a long illness of diabetes and complications. Everything possible was done for her comfort and to stay the hand of death but it proved of no avail. She had been in a state of coma for ten days, and the end came peacefully.

Marion Keithley was a daughter of John Wesley and Eliza Keithley and was one of a family of nine children. She was born in Georgetown, Ill., on March 27, 1863, so was almost sixty-five years old. She came to Bellevue with her parents in October, 1874, residing here ever since. She was united in marriage with Frank Harrison on May 29, 1883. She was the mother of six children, five preceeding her in death. She is survived by her husband and one son, R.F. Harrison of Chicago, and one sister, Mrs. James Crow of Aberdeen, Washington.

Mrs. Harrison was a woman of many splendid attributes. Through all her life she displayed those virtues which endeared her to many friends and neighbors. This writer feels a personal loss in her passing, for she was a dear neighbor for over twenty years, and we knew that her affection for friends and neighbors and kindred was tender and abiding. None ever entered her home without a warm welcome nor left without feeling the warmth of a genuine hospitality. Her home was indeed a haven for many a tired and worn soul. She reared her own monument in the hearts of all who knew her, and bore her burdens without complaint. Surely such a life will not go unrewarded in the life to come.

Funeral services will be held at two o'clock on Friday afternoon at the Presbyterian church, the Rev. J.L. Coleman officiating, and burial will be made in the family lot in the cemetery north of town.

The pallbearers will be John L. Ernst, A.G.Enfield, Geroge Schaub, P.J. Weber, John Zelmet, and W.F. Schirmer.
