Death Takes Aged Resident

Frank Harrison, 82, Well-Known Resident Dies Wednesday Morning Burial Friday

Frank Harrison, a familiar figure on the streets of Bellevue for many years, died at 7:30 o'clock Wednesday morning at the Jackson county home, where he was taken several weeks ago when he began to fail rapidly. He had been living in the Wm. Maugler home.

The body was brought to the Dye funeral home in this city and the funeral will be held from there Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. Laurence Nelson. Burial will be made in the city cemetery, north of town.

Mr. Harrison, who was nearing his 83rd birthday at the time of his death, was born in Wisconsin May 3, 1856, a son of Richard and Margaret Van Horn Harrison.

He married Miss Marion Keithley of Bellevue and for many years he operated a shoe repair shop here.

His wife and two daughters preceeded him in death and his only survivor is a son, Richard.

Frank had a remarkable memory and oftimes was consulted in regard to happenings of long ago. He was deeply interested in baseball and never missed an afternoon to listen to the radio in his haunts at several business places Up until a few days before he was taken to the county home he made his regular trips to the business part of town.
