JACOB BECKER 1869-1952

BELLEVUE, Ia. -- Services for Jacob Becker, 83, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Joseph E. Linkenmeyer will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Becker died at 5 a.m. Friday at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque. He had been ill one month. The Kempter Funeral Home at Bellevue is in charge of arrangements.

The son of Matthias and Mary Becker, he was born Jan. 13, 1869 at Galena, Ill. He came to Bellevue in 1940. Unmarried, he was a carpenter by trade.

Surviving are one brother, Matt, of Bellevue, and a sister, Miss Mary Becker, of Bellevue.
