Maquoketa, Ia. – Final rites for Francis Ralston, 48, will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Baldwin Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery.

Ralston, former Maquoketan, died Friday at Westside, Ia., where he had resided for five years. Services were held there Monday morning, and the body will be brought Monday evening to the Carson-Balster Funeral Home here.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Ralston and was born Dec. 23, 1900. He was an employee of the Northwestern Railroad, and for several years was an agent in Charlotte.

Surviving are his widow, the former Una Regenitter; a daughter, Mary Frances, and a son Gene, all of Westside; his mother, Mrs. Hannah Ralston, Maquoketa; two brothers, Paul and Loyola, both of Maquoketa; and five sisters, Mrs. Edwin Mott, of Wyoming, Ia., Mrs. Leo Burmeister, of Lost Nation, Ia., Mrs. Clarence Regenwether, Irene and Lucille, all of Maquoketa.
