Maquoketa, Ia., - Special: Funeral services for Miss Stella Rice, 72, were held at 2 o’clock Thursday in the Carson and Balster Funeral Home. The Rev. Geo. F. Barsaton officiated and burial was in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Miss Rice died in the City Memorial Hospital Monday night, where she had been cared for the past eight years.

She was the youngest of 11 children of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Rice, and was born May 29, 1865.

She was the last of her immediate family.
