Maquoketa, Iowa

Mrs. Minnie Bruns, 73, of Maquoketa died Saturday night at the Jackson County Public Hospital here.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson Funeral Home here, where friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery here.

Surviving are two sons, Hank of rural Maquoketa and Ronald of rural Delmar, Iowa; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Charles (Darlene) Kirkdendall of Sheboygan Falls, Wis.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold and Carl Engel, both of Maquoketa, and a sister, Mrs. Edgar (Ella) Carlson of Maquoketa.
