Slattery Funeral Services To Be
Held Monday Morning

The funeral of Mrs. Sarah Slattery, widow of the late William Slattery of Zwingle, Ia., who passed away at the family home two miles west of Dubuque, Monday morning at 5:20 o'clock after a lingering illness, will be held Wednesday morning from the home to Resumption Church at Sylvia, Ia., at 9 o'clock. Internment will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Salttery was one of the oldest residents of Jackson County having resided here since Oct. 1858. Fifty years ago she was married to William Slattery. He died eight years ago.

A daughter, Mrs. John Sheehan, passed away twenty years ago.

Surviving her are two daughters, Miss Mayme Slattery at home, and Mrs. J. P. Biggins, of Zwingle, three sons William of Dubuque, L. F. and C. M. Slattery of Zwingle, a sister Miss Degan, of Otter Creek, and a brother, James of Chugwater, Wyo.
